On the weekend of the 21^st - 22^nd August 2010 the All Ireland Open Championship travelled north to Belfast. A first for Belfast and a first for the TD’s. Eight teams in all entered to battle it out for Irelands Top prize in Ultimate.

As per last year, game lengths were kept at 90 minutes, which was a shock for some teams that hadn't played in last years event, but every team managed rightly with it.

This year was the first outing for three teams, REBEL and the 2 BUG teams, and all were ready to make their mark on All Irelands.

The All Ireland Open Championships is this weekend (21st-22nd August), in Belfast! If you're not playing already, why not come down, spectate, and see some of the best Ultimate on the island of Ireland.

The tournament is being held at Shorts FC Playing Fields, near Belfast City Airport, and will feature some of the best Ultimate club teams in Ireland. There are further details on the All Ireland Championships website or on the IFDA website.
